WHAT WE DO
OUR SERVICES
Acupunture
Acupuncture is a medical treatment that stimulates the body’s own natural ability to heal. Acupuncture has been practiced for more than 2000 years in China and other Asian countries. It is recognized by the National Institutes of Health and by the World Health Organization for the treatment of many common ailments.
Moxibustion
Is a traditional Chinese medicine therapy based on applying heat in an acupuncture point or body area, boosting its resultant therapy.
The heat is added by burning Moxa (dry processed Atemisia Vulgaris) a well known medicinal plant in Chinese medicine.
There are multiple techniques to implement Moxa during therapy, but your overall sensation will be pleasant and warm.
Ask how Moxa may help you
Cupping
It is based on the application of negative tension between a therapeutic cup and your skin, by doing so it will increase your flow of Qi (Vital Energy), blood and oxygen to the treated area.
Cupping has been trending since its usage was a common practice among olympic athletes mainly to release muscular tension and increase their performance. It’s an excellent tool to release wind or heat arrested in your body.
Ask more for facial cupping for lifting or releasing sinus pressure.
Gua Sha
Gua Sha uses a very similar principle as cupping, by scraping the skin and implementing forces against the body.
During Gua Sha, a tool is used to scrape an area of the body where stagnation or toxins exist. Firm, repetitive strokes are used to break up tough knots or problem areas in the fascia.
Once those areas of tightness are relaxed, qi and blood can, once again, move freely and nourish that area.
Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture
Also known as Cosmetic Acupuncture, is a centuries-old therapy blended with modern technology, that calls on the body’s innate healing abilities to nourish and rejuvenate the skin and muscles of the face to slow or reverse signs of aging.
This therapy is quickly gaining popularity as a natural alternative to fillers and Botox. It is non-surgical, there are no risks of infection or scarring, and there is a pleasant relaxing effect during and after treatment.
